The TruPartner Credit Union (TPCU) Refer A Friend (RAF) Program is available to current members age 18 and older. To qualify, the new member must not have had a TPCU account within the past 180 days, meet all account opening requirements, and open a checking account and/or loan.
The referring member and the new member will each receive $25 when a new membership with a checking account is opened. The referring member and the new member will each receive $100 when a new loan of at least $5000 is funded. New members can also earn a $25 bonus by setting up a direct deposit of $500 or more or completing 10 debit card transactions within the first 30 days of account opening.
Requirements: (1) The new member must mention the referring member at the time of account or loan opening to qualify. Use referral code: RAF-(Member Last Name). TPCU member can submit the RAF form in advance. (see form). (2) Accounts must remain in good standing to receive the cash bonus. Bonus(es) will be deposited into the referring member’s savings account within 30 days after the new member meets all offer requirements. (3) Bonus cannot be used to meet minimum opening deposit requirements. (4) To qualify for loan bonus, loan application must be submitted within 30 days of account opening and fund within 30 days of application approval. (5) Bonuses limited to the first loan and first checking account opened by the new member, however current members may refer multiple new members to qualify for multiple bonuses.
TPCU staff and volunteers are eligible for the referral program. Annual Percentage Yield (APYs) is accurate as of 11/17/2025-TPCU Dividend Earning 0.05% APY. All cash incentives are considered bonuses and may be subject to IRS Form 1099 reporting. TPCU does not provide tax advice; please consult your tax advisor.
